As I mentioned above, they have quite a big collection of programs to join, which makes finding affiliate programs easy for any kind of content.

Impact puts user experience and data-driven innovation first. Their dashboard works fast and is easily comprehensible.
In fact, it is one of the more enjoyable interfaces I found among all affiliate networks.

How Does it Work?

As with most platforms, you have to register first.
After you log in, you can find programs by browsing through the categories or just simply use the search function.

Once you find the program you want to join, you will need to apply for it. Just hover over the tile and hit the apply button.

A popup will, well, pop-up and here you can read more about the terms and conditions of the program. Take notice of it and scroll down. 

Here you will find the confirmation apply button. 
Impact wants to make sure that you agree to the terms, so you have to confirm again.

Some brands will offer you the option to tell them why they should accept you. Tell them how you are going to promote their brand.

Your application is now pending, so you will have to wait.

Getting Links

Once you are accepted, you will have to find the brand again. The easiest way to do this is to use the menu. Click ‘Brands’ and then ‘My Brands’.

Now click on the tile of the brand you want to promote.

The ‘More’ button has some links to Ads, the contract information, Promo Codes (if applicable), and more.

The ‘Create’ button will allow you to make a custom affiliate link to a specific landingpage. This might come in handy if you want to highlight a specific topic or property of the product you are promoting.

If you select ‘Ads’ you navigate to an overview of ads, banners, links, etc.

Click the ‘Get Code’ button on the right and copy the code from the popup that appears.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Impact is free for publishers. 

Is Impact Legit?

I do believe so. 
They score an 8.4 out of 10 on TrustRadius, but I have to say that is difficult to find good information if the name of your brand is as generic as a word that is often used. Even in other brand names.
