There are a lot of job opportunities when it comes to reading and writing skills. Think about jobs like transcriptionists, proofreaders, personal/virtual assistants, freelance writers, bloggers, custom support, and the list goes on.

As you are reading this, I presume that the technical aspect of reading and writing, or what we learned at school, is present.
The courses in this list are more about professional aspects.

Basic Skills and Tooling

I am quite sloppy when it comes to writing. The fact that I am not a native English speaker also makes it harder for me to reflect on my own writing as I simply miss a lot of mistakes.

Having a tool that helps me improve this is essential to me. It does not magically convert my texts into perfect English, but it reduces a lot of mistakes.

I love Grammarly. While writing it not only auto-corrects my spelling and punctuation mistakes, but it also makes suggestions and keeps track of the tone of voice I use.
The best thing is that it has a free version, which is awesome by itself but it also performs really well.

Work At Home

I do not believe that my own (English) language skills are up to a level where I can start a professional side hustle in areas like proofreading or writing for companies, but if yours do, then the following courses will help you to start in those areas.

Transcription, Proofreading, Freelance Writing, are all excellent Work-At-Home jobs that can create a side income for you.
A lot of them even give you the freedom to work at your own pace and hours, making it easier to plan the work around your personal schedule.

The courses in this list will give you some insights into the specific job(s) and hopefully help you to start your own side job (and income).
